The zavqerom Bamboo Monitor Stand raises a monitor or laptop by 11 cm, which is enough to bring the top of the display level with your eyes and let you sit back instead of folding forward.

The frame is solid bamboo, not veneered particleboard. Bamboo is a grass that grows to harvest size in a fraction of the time a hardwood takes, and it is dense, dimensionally stable and remarkably strong for its weight — this stand carries up to 30 kg without bowing. Each piece is sanded through four grits so the surface is smooth to the palm, with every edge rounded by hand to remove the sharp factory line. The grain is fine and even, and the warm honey tone softens the hard edges of a tech-heavy desk.

Storage is where the design earns its footprint. Two full-width drawers slide out on wooden runners with recessed finger pulls — no metal hardware to rattle, no handles to knock your wrist on. They are deep enough for A5 notebooks, charging bricks, external drives, spare cables and the small items that otherwise live in a heap. Above them, an open lower shelf takes a keyboard when you are not typing, a laptop when you are working on the monitor, or a stack of books.

At the back, a wide cable slot lets power and display cables drop straight down and out of sight instead of curling across the desktop. Rubberised feet keep the stand planted and protect the surface below; they also lift it a few millimetres so air still moves under a laptop.

Assembly takes about four minutes with the included tool; all holes are pre-drilled and the fittings are steel, so you can take it apart and rebuild it after a move without the joints going loose. Finish it once a year with any food-safe oil and it will darken into a deeper amber instead of drying out.
